Uncertainty remains regarding the 3600 additional indicators. While the ministry is constantly postponing the last meeting, public servants are losing hope.

Recent developments have raised concerns as millions of civil servants and retired civil servants await the good news that will emerge from the 3600 additional indicator negotiations. While the last meeting was held in May and the regulation was expected to come to the Parliament, the postponement of the meeting by the Ministry of Labor increased the uncertainty in the process. While the Memur-Sen Confederation, representing the civil servants' side in the negotiations, made consecutive calls to the Ministry to "see your proposal", the draft prepared was first discussed in the Complex by the public servant. Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security, and Nureddin Nebati, Minister of Treasury and Finance, conveyed the draft to Vice President Fuat Oktay. Oktay also made a presentation about the draft to President Erdoğan.

PUBLIC SERVANTS ARE CONCERNED

The fact that the draft prepared on the issue that concerns the public servants was not presented to the public servants received a reaction. Memur-Sen Confederation, representing the civil servants at the table, criticized that the regulation was carried out unilaterally. Reacting to the agenda at a meeting where the draft details are not theirs, the officers began to worry that a fair arrangement would not come out of the negotiations.

THE WORK WITHOUT MEMUR-SEN CONFEDERATION IS UNILATERAL

Criticizing the fact that they were not informed about the draft, Memur-Sen Confederation Chairman Ali Yalçın said, “We are in the phase of waiting for a proposal within the framework of the information we have given to the Ministry. When the Ministry submits its proposal to us, it becomes a commission study. Otherwise, this will not be a work done with Memur-Sen Confederation, it will only be a work done by the Ministry of Labor.”
