After visiting the Incirlik Air Base in Turkey, where he came due to the earthquake, he met with Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, and US Secretary of State Blinken once again made many promises at the joint press conference.

At the joint press conference with Çavuşoğlu, Blinken was content to list "wish" again on the issue of F-16 and F-35.

Blinken also said they "wait" for Turkey to approve the membership of Sweden and Finland.

"GIVE BACK THE MONEY WE PAYED BEFORE"

Recalling that Turkey was excluded from the F-35 program due to CAATSA sanctions, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said, "It was a one-sided decision, not our decision. Therefore, we have a figure of 1.4 billion dollars that we paid. Since Turkey is not in this program, it is our most natural right to expect the money we paid to be paid back."

WE ARE ALLIES... WE ARE WITH YOU... WE SUPPORT TURKEY...

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, "I bring you a message from President Biden and the American people. USA is with you when you need it," he said.

Blinken, regarding the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, asserted that the USA stands by Turkey when needed.

"We are with you all the way through this period and in the rebuilding process," Blinken added.

Blinken also spoke about Turkey's F-16 modernization and acquisition.

"We support Turkey in this regard. Because, as a NATO ally, this is in our national interests," Blinken said.
