Felicity (Saadet) Party Deputy Chairman Mustafa Kaya made important evaluations on the agenda at his press conference.
Expressing the views of Saadet Party on the developments and events in foreign policy, Kaya started his speech by congratulating Ebrahim Raisi, who was elected as the new President of Iran in the Presidential Elections.
Reminding that sanctions were imposed on Iran during the Trump era, the previous US President, Kaya said, "In this new period, both the messages given by the new President of the USA Biden and the developments on the Iranian side, we also wish and expect that the tension in this region will decrease and that these sanctions will come to an end. In this period, we believe that the negotiations in various fields that both our region and Turkey are currently conducting with Iran will yield beneficial results."
“WE HOPE IT BRINGS PEACE AND TRANQUILITY”
Kaya also made evaluations about the elections held in Armenia.
"Now, with Azerbaijan's effective victory in Nagorno-Karabakh, Nikol Pashinyan, who became the Prime Minister in this process, will be the prime minister by getting close to 54 percent of the votes, presenting the results that should be read by everyone. It seems that now the Armenian people are also disturbed by the humpback that Nagorno-Karabakh has created on them. With this process, the Armenian people can demonstrate the will to take steps to support such an environment of peace in the region. We hope that these elections will bring peace and tranquility," Kaya added.
THE PARTY SUPPORTED BY MACRON DID NOT GET PASSED GRADE
Underlining that another election is the regional elections in France, Kaya said, "We can clearly see that the party supported by Macron, the Republican Marching Movement Party, as the 5th party in these elections, did not actually get a passing grade from the French people. It seems that a new era will begin in France in the 2022 elections. We think that this broken period created by Macron in the new period will hopefully end."
“IT SHOWS NO NEW DEVELOPMENT”
Reminding that the 12-year Benjamin Netanyahu era in Israel has come to an end, Kaya said, "The Netanyahu era, which saw all kinds of atrocities against the Palestinian people, ended in these elections. A new government has come to power. However, when we look at the components of the new government, although it is a coalition of political parties from different segments of the society, nothing has changed on the Zionist front. Kaya also made evaluations about the NATO Summit and the relations between the USA and Turkey.
