The language used by the leaders of the People's Alliance, Erdoğan and Bahçeli, at these openings and rallies, reminded us of the phrase “nothing new under the sun”.
LANGUAGE ATTRACTS ATTENTION WHEN THE SQUARES ARE HEATING
Eight months before the elections, the political parties gave the start of the elections. While the partners of the People's Alliance, Justice and Development Party (AKP) and MHP, organize rallies under the name of collective opening, opposition parties carry out the process with visits to tradesmen and citizens. While the squares heat up with the parties giving the start of the elections, the language used by the parties does not go unnoticed.
WHEN OPPOSITION IS THE PROJECT, THE POWER IS POLARIZATION!
The language and strategy used by the People's Alliance parties in this process are familiar. While the government's strategy carries snapshots from previous elections, the opposition parties mostly tell about projects they will do when they come to power. President Erdoğan and MHP leader Bahçeli do not hesitate to polarize the people, while they criticize opposition leaders from the rostrums with a harsh language as in previous elections.

The language used by the ruling party began to show its effect on the street as well. While the language on the pulpit entered the mosque courtyard, this situation went as far as booing some opposition leaders. While Future (Gelecek) Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu was booed by some citizens at the exit of the mosque in Amasya, it was reflected to the public that he was not accepted to the area by the governor and some mayors in Erzurum Promotion Days in Istanbul. The opposition leaders' exposure to the public's reaction on the street is seen as the result of the language used by the People's Alliance leaders.

The landscapes seen in recent days show that the strategies used by the ruling party and its partner MHP in the previous elections, will be implemented this election too. It reveals that the members of the People's Alliance, who have pursued strategies such as polarizing the people in the last couple of years, accusing the opposition leaders of treason and booing them in front of the citizens, will carry out the same strategies in this election period.
