The Zionist Israeli soldiers who raided the houses of the Palestinians and detained them for various reasons, took 16 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank yesterday.
According to a written statement made by the Occupier Israeli army, 16 Palestinians were taken into custody for alleged "involvement in terrorist acts" during nightly operations in various parts of the West Bank. The Israeli forces, which frequently raid the houses in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, take Palestinians under various pretexts.
6,500 PALESTINIANS ARE IN ISRAELI PRISONS
According to Palestinian official sources, there are about 6,500 Palestinians in Israeli prisons, 62 of them are women, 450 are administrative detainees, 12 are deputies and 300 are children. With the practice of "administrative detention", Israel can keep Palestinians for 1 to 6 months based on intelligence. If the detainee decides that "Israel poses a danger to the security of the security", the military judge can extend the detention period up to 5 years without even having a criminal charge.
