With the decision taken by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Council, the name of the late Saadet Party High Advisory Board Chairman, Oğuzhan Asiltürk, who passed away in October, will be kept alive in Çankaya.

ANKARA MUNICIPALITY ASSEMBLY NAMED ASİLTÜRK TO 54TH STREET

 
The name of the late Oğuzhan Asiltürk, Chairman of the High Advisory Board of the Saadet Party, will be kept alive in Ankara.
 
The name of Asiltürk, who died in October, was given to Çankaya Bahçelievler 54th Street by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Council.
 

ACCEPTED BY THE VOTES OF ASSEMBLY MEMBERS

 
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Council Member Emre Arslantaş's proposal to give Asiltürk's name to a street in Çankaya was accepted by the votes of the council members.
 
Arslantaş, who presented the proposal, made the following statement:
 
"In order to preserve the name of the esteemed statesman and politician, Felicity Party High Advisory Board Chairman, the late Oğuzhan Asiltürk, I request that the name of Çankaya district Yukarı Bahçelievler Mahallesi 54th Street be changed to Oğuzhan Asiltürk Street and our report be voted in this way. For this reason, I wish Allah's mercy on him, my condolences to his relatives and all his loved ones."
