As the patron of the Palestinian issue, AGD continues to keep the Palestine issue on the agenda with its work. AGD, which has carried out many events in the field with its branches, recently held a Palestine Special meeting with the participation of all organization members. AGD Chairman Salih Turhan also attended the meeting, where all AGD organizational members attended, and made a speech.
"WE WILL PRAY TOGETHER IN AQSA ON VICTORY DAY"
Turhan stated that their support for the struggle that started on October 7 continues, and once again announced that the issue started years ago and that they, as National Vision organizations, always stand by the struggling Palestinian people.
Turhan, reminding them of the work they have been doing for months, "We have undertaken many studies supporting spiritual infrastructure. We held conferences in many parts of our country. We conveyed the issues to our people in detail. We are carrying out signature campaigns for the closure of Kürecik and Incirlik. We organized the Conquest of Mecca programs with the theme of Jerusalem. We have undertaken work that will help our people wake up. With the most remarkable work of this process, we went to Hatay with the 'We are at the Border' action and announced our support for Palestine to the world once again from the closest point with thousands of vehicles. We also carried out actions that violated commercial agreements. Hopefully, on the day of victory, we will all pray together in Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem," he said.
“WE WILL BRING THE TRUTH TO OUR PEOPLE AGAINST WRONG”
Turhan also warned against false and propagandist perceptions of Israel and its supporters.
"We must convey this just struggle to future generations. Expectations have been created to deliver correct information to our people against misinformation by Zionist Israel and its minions. We must work to keep this issue on the agenda and convey it to our children. Standing by the Palestinian issue is a litmus issue. It is a statement that we are with Abraham like an ant," Turhan added.
“IT WILL BE ON OUR AGENDA UNTIL THE OPPRESSION IS OVER”
Turhan stated that the month of Ramadan is approaching and gave the message that the issue will always be on their agenda.
"We are approaching the month of Ramadan. We will organize sahur and iftar programs with a bowl of soup or a date in our iftar programs to make our people aware of the difficulties experienced by our brothers in Palestine. We will keep the issue on the agenda gradually. Let's specifically express the dimension of hunger. Nothing, no aid could be delivered properly to the northern region of Gaza. The trouble is beyond what we expected. There is no step back from the struggle at the front. The people are in great trouble. Israel, in agreement with the USA, carried out major attacks on the Rafah border gate. They are attacking millions of people there to force them to go towards the Sinai Desert. We will keep the issue on the agenda. We will not leave the issue off the agenda until this oppression ends, God willing, and until our brothers achieve victory," Turhan said.
