The 58th General Assembly of ÖNDER Imam Hatipliler Association was held at the Great Çamlıca Mosque Conference Hall yesterday.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan sent a telegram and ÖNDER was elected as the new chairman, Saadet Party Deputy Chairman Mustafa Kaya, Deputy Minister of Treasury and Finance Nurettin Nebati, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Ahmet Misbah Demircan, CHP Istanbul Deputy Akif Hamzaçebi, Istanbul Provincial National Education Manager Levent Yazıcı, Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Prof. Dr. Burhanettin Hacıcaferoğlu, Memur Sen Chairman Ali Yalçın, İlim Yayma Vakfı Board of Trustees Chairman Bilal Erdoğan, Turkey Youth NGOs Platform (TGSP) Chairman Ömer Faruk Terzi, Turkey Youth Foundation (TÜGVA) Vice President Okan Özer and members of ÖNDER attended the program.
Felicity (Saadet) Party Konya Deputy Abdulkadir Karaduman and Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) Chairman Salih Turhan also attended the program by telegram. In the general assembly where Kamber Çal was not a candidate again, former Secretary General Abdullah Ceylan was elected as the new chairman. In the general assembly held in Istanbul, management, supervisory and discipline committees consisting of 70 people were also determined.
“WE STRIVED TO RAIS OUR YOUTH BETTER”
The program, which started with the recitation of the Qur'an, the most beautiful of words, continued with the formation of the divan and the national anthem. In the program, which continued with the screening of the movie named 'Sight and Wisdom', Kamber Çal, former Chairman of ÖNDER, gave a greeting speech. Stating that they are a big family with their alumni associations, members, volunteers and every individual who feels like they belong to the imam hatip community, Çal said, "Thank God, we have also had a duty on this path, on which our valuable elders, teachers, and travelers of knowledge and guidance walk. By following their footsteps, we tried to develop and transform ourselves first, then to raise our young people better and to raise awareness in our families and in the whole society."
ABDULLAH CEYLAN ELECTED AS THE NEW PRESIDENT
After the protocol speeches, the 58th General Assembly of ÖNDER Imam Hatipliler Association continued with the screening of the activity film. After the screening of the film, the election of the 58th Term Board of Directors and Chairman was held. Abdullah Ceylan became the new chairman of ÖNDER Imam Hatipliler Association.
After the election, Ceylan addressed the attendant, "I would like to thank all the presidents, members of the board of directors, volunteers, veteran employees and associations of our Önder who have served so far. I wish Allah's help and success to all my brothers and elders who will take charge in the new term. I would like to thank all of you for your participation in our General Assembly, I expect the actual and verbal prayers of each of you, and I entrust you to Allah," he said.
