In order to close the concentration camps in East Turkestan, the Human Rights and Justice Movement Association (İHAK) marched from Fatih Mosque to Saraçhane Park. Non-governmental organizations, East Turkestans and many citizens attended.
The leader of the IHAK, Cihat Gökdemir, said that the Chinese occupation had been going on since 1949. The persecution in East Turkistan continues to increase day by day. Life, goods, generation, wisdom, belief, education and so on. Concentration camps were added to the persecution. According to Amnesty International figures, as of September 2018 more than 1 million people were detained in concentration camps. These reactions will continue until the concentration camps are closed.
Saying that the government should take more concrete steps to help East Turkestan, Mazlum-Der President Ramazan Beyhan said, "The reasons for the removal of Muslims from the border should be stopped. Legal community, associations, NGOs should be sensitive to this situation and prevent people from being deported unfairly. The Uighurs who are deported face very bad treatment in China." he said.
