The budget marathon for 2023 begins in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM). The Parliamentary Plan and Budget Committee will hold discussions on Friday, October 21, and the overall budget meeting will be held on October 26. The meeting schedule of the 2023 budget at the Parliamentary Plan and Budget Committee has been announced.
NEGOTIATIONS WILL CONTINUE FOR 1 MONTH
The negotiations of the 2023 Central Government Budget Law Proposal, the 2021 Central Government Final Accounts Law Proposal and the Court of Account reports in the commission will take approximately one month. Budget discussions will begin with a presentation to the commission on Friday, October 21 at 15.00. After the budget presentation, the commission work will be suspended for 5 days for the preparation of the commission members. The Plan and Budget Committee will hold discussions on the overall budget on Wednesday, October 26. The negotiations on the 2023 budgets of the ministries and institutions will be completed on Friday, November 25. The 2023 budget will be submitted to the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly in December.
