At the summit, which started at 14.00, the leaders of Republican People's Party (CHP), Good (IYI) Party, Felicity (Saadet) Party, Future (Gelecek) Party, Democracy and Progress (DEVA) Party and Democrat (Demokrat) Party, which proposed a Strengthened Parliamentary System, came together for the fifth time.

The meeting, hosted by IYI Party Chairwoman Meral Akşener, started at 14.00, unlike the previous meetings, in order to use the time more efficiently.

AKŞENER WELCOMED THE LEADERS ONE BY ONE

Before the meeting, Akşener welcomed Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu, CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, DEVA Party Chairman Ali Babacan, Democrat Party Chairman Gültekin Uysal and Future Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu at the party entrance.

After the six-party meeting, the presidents made a joint written statement and gave a strong message that they will build the Turkey of Tomorrow together.

In the statement, "In today's meeting, we discussed the stage of our cooperation, the problems on our nation's agenda and the new steps to be taken to solve those problems... The Constitutional and Legal Reforms Commission continues its work on a regular basis. It is clear that the policies that the government has been trying to put into effect in the recent period are aimed at gaining a permanent character of an authoritarian structure closed to the world. In this context, the decisions taken by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK) in the last week are clearly seen as steps of the transition from the free exchange system to the capital control system," it was stated.

ADDITIONAL BUDGET ECONOMIC POLICIES CONCERNING THE BANKRUPTCY

In the joint statement, it was stated that the supplementary budget presented to the Parliament by the government is a confession of the bankruptcy of its economic policies.

"The government has once again made it clear that it has chosen not to fight inflation and unemployment, but to the troubles of farmers, civil servants and retirees, but to supporter contractors and interest lobbies. As Chairmen, we reaffirm our determination to fight against the government's efforts to steer our country into a closed economic-political system that remained in the last century. To end high inflation and unemployment, to bring prosperity to our farmers, laborers, industrialists, shopkeepers, civil servants and retirees, as the assurance of a regular, efficient, competitive economy that prioritizes employment; We are determined not to condemn any member of our nation to a minimum wage below the poverty line," the joint statement said.

"WE WILL MANAGE FOREIGN POLICY ACCORDING TO NATIONAL INTEREST"

In the statement, it was noted that the disinformation bill submitted to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey focused on punishing the political and social opposition by declaring them guilty and harming the democratic election environment, referring to the NATO agreement signed with Turkey, Sweden and Finland.

"In Turkish foreign policy, in recent years, depending on personal and reactive preferences; The last example of drifting, aimlessness and lack of vision was seen during NATO's Madrid Summit. The tripartite agreement, which does not bind Turkey's rightful demands to concrete guarantees, has no value other than its use as a domestic policy material. In this framework, we will manage foreign policy according to national interests, not personal interests. Turkey's reputation has not been shaken; We will make it a respected, respected and most powerful country in its region," the statement added.

"OUR CANDIDATE WILL BE THE 13TH PRESIDENT OF TURKEY"

In the statement, which also included the discussion of the presidential candidate, following statements noted:

"Those who try to reduce the consultation mechanism created by the six political parties to meet in common sense and reasonableness, to the candidacy debate, will never be able to interrupt our work, which we see as a great achievement for the future of our nation and country. We declare once again that the 13th President of Turkey will be the candidate of democracy lovers who are in favor of the Strengthened Parliamentary system. On this occasion, we pray to Almighty Allah that the Eid-al-Adha, which we will realize on July 9, 2022, will bring blessings to our beloved nation and the entire Islamic world."

TARGETS OF THE NEW SYSTEM ANNOUNCED

In the statement underlining the need to get rid of the Presidential Government System, the targets to be realized within the scope of the Strengthened Parliamentary System were listed one by one;

Our aim is to remove all obstacles in front of our youth, including the unemployment they are condemned to and the freedoms that are tried to be suppressed, and to enable them to achieve their dreams.

To support our businesses to compete with abroad and to create brand value in both national and international markets.

It is the ability of our tradesmen, producers, industrialists and farmers to offer quality products to consumers at affordable prices and to earn from what they produce.

It is the attainment of the quality of life that our civil servants, workers and retirees deserve.

Ending poverty, especially poverty of women and children, with inclusive policies is to ensure that every member of our nation gets a fair share of welfare.

In summary, it is a change not only in the management system, but also in our entire lives. What we deserve as a nation is to have a happy and prosperous Turkey worthy of the 21st century.
