The Chair of the Middle East Industry and Trade Center (OSTİM), Orhan Aydın, was the guest of the Economic and Social Research Center's (ESAM) 'Wednesday Conferences'. At the ESAM Conference Hall, with the subject "Where are we in the industrialization?" the program took place with attendance of Saadet Party General Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu, ESAM President Recai Kutan, former President of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Bülent Arınç, ministers, deputies and many citizens.
Aydın, who complained that they could not explain the situation to the bureaucracy in terms of domestic and national production, said: ad We do some good things in the defense industry and we have some successes. But when we go to the civilian side, we're falling out. We cannot take steps to reduce dependence. We can't do what we write. We cannot translate what we do into domestic and national form. We must fly with our own wings. Those who try to fly with the wings of others cannot be Hürkuş.
Stating that the achievements in the defense industry could not be achieved in the civil sector, Aydın, "The companies founded in the same periods as our companies in the world became the world giant. They made them sustainable. But on our side, we couldn't develop conflicts because of conflicts. Still, the debate continues in Turkey. Beautiful things are done in the defense industry. We have some achievements. But when we go to the civilian side, we're falling out. We cannot take steps to reduce dependence. We can't do what we write. We cannot translate what we do into domestic and national form. We're skating around here. We need to find a solution. We have to do here in the defense industry, but there are incredible obstacles here. We must work for the solution of this." he said.
Aydin, "When we come to other ministries this is the inn. So we are focused on purchasing, good buyer, can not go beyond good procurer. There is a structure that has grown up in this field and has a national and national perspective. 'We came here to make it superior to Turkey' they say. But in other ministries, this is not the case in municipalities. We carry out important works in the Turkish defense industry and have achieved significant successes." he said.
Aydın, "We have always taken our rail system from outside. We had our firms back then. But it was not allowed. We could not tell the bureaucracy. If the state authorities don't listen to us, we can't get anywhere. We will all sit at the table and work until the morning. We told it, but the authorities didn't listen. As a result of our struggle, our domestic companies are doing this. We do that when it's given. But it's not allowed. These carriers have in many parts of Turkey. Now some municipalities have built rail systems to domestic companies. We managed to do this against the bureaucracy. Those who try to fly with the wings of others cannot be Hürkuş. It does not happen without domestic and national production." he added.
