Orphan Solidarity Night Program, organized by Bursa IHH for the 10th time this year, was held at Merinos Atatürk Congress and Culture Center with intense participation. The program, which Bursa Metropolitan Municipality also contributed, was organized with the slogan "An Orphan for Every Heart". In the program, which was held with the participation of IHH Board Member Responsible for Orphan Studies Reşat Başer and Bursa IHH President Hüseyin Kaptan, the importance of cooperation and sharing was highlighted, and IHH's activities for orphans were introduced. Nur Haktan made the presentation of the event, which started with the recitation of the Qur'an by Muhammed Kırmızı.
“EVERY HOUSE SHOULD SPONSOR AN ORPHAN”
Bursa IHH President Hüseyin Kaptan, who made the opening speech of the program and addressed the participants, said, “IHH supports more than 134 thousand orphans in different geographies of the world with its Orphan Sponsorship System. In the Qur'an and hadiths, there are orders and recommendations to be merciful to orphans. Every house should have an orphan sponsored.” Reşat Başer, Member of the Board of IHH Responsible for Orphan Studies, made a short speech and emphasized that it is necessary to work until no orphan child in the world is left vulnerable.
SPONSORING 133 THOUSAND ORPHANS
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, which has been working for orphans for 29 years, always supports orphans until they grow up and stand on their own feet; It works non-stop to meet all kinds of needs from shelter to health, from education to food. In this way, it is aimed that orphans can live next to their relatives without needing anyone. IHH regularly supports more than 133 thousand orphans in 47 countries, including Turkey, with the Orphan Sponsorship System every month. In addition, 42 orphanages in 13 countries, 1 Orphan education center and 1 orphan education village continue to serve.
