On his Twitter account, al-Da’alis wrote, “After the Israeli occupation had agreed to boost Gaza’s power supply, Qatar paid the United Nations Office for Project Services to purchase fuel for the sole power plant in the coastal territory.”
However, he added, the PA threated the employees of Gaza’s Power Plant that it would hold them accountable if they increased regular power supply from four to eight hours per day.
Since 2006, the Palestinian people in Gaza have been suffering from a chronic electricity crisis due to the lack of power supply compared with the Palestinians’ needs and the PA’s rejection to any proposals to solve the problem.
