Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi, Ambassador of Pakistan, who made special evaluations to our newspaper regarding the ceasefire decision announced in Palestine.
"Since the first day of the attacks, the Pakistani State has taken many diplomatic contacts and took steps to create awareness and unity both in the Islamic geography and in the international public in order to stop the attacks. The people of Pakistan showed their support to the people of Palestine with their protests," Qazi said.
Calling for unity and solidarity with Islamic countries, Ambassador Qazi noted that the ceasefire was declared with the diplomatic pressures of Turkey and Pakistan.
"WE SHOULD BE WITH PALESTINE"
Stating that the ceasefire will not be in the future until the Zionist occupation is ended, Qazi, "We know that the Zionist massacre and occupation in Palestine for the time being will not end until the Zionist occupation ends and the Palestinians get the rights they deserve. In an environment where the good are silent, the voices of the bad guys are louder. For this, the world public, especially the Islamic countries, should act in unity and solidarity with Palestine," he said.
Underlining that the diplomatic pressures of Turkey and Pakistan in the UN played an active role in the declared ceasefire, Ambassador Qazi, "Recently, Palestine was discussed at the UN meeting held while Israel's attacks on Palestine were continuing. At that meeting, Turkish and Pakistani Foreign Affairs also put pressure on the UN to take action and end Israeli aggression. These pressures were instrumental in Israel's declaring a ceasefire," he added.
"AWARENESS IN ISLAMIC GEOGRAPHY AND INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC OPINION"
Noting that the Pakistani State and its people always stand by Palestine, Qazi said at the end of his evaluations:
"Since the first day of the attacks, the Pakistani State has taken many diplomatic contacts and took steps to create awareness and unity both in the Islamic geography and in the international public in order to stop the attacks. The people of Pakistan showed their support to the people of Palestine with their protests."
