"UN RESOLUTIONS MUST BE IMPLEMENTED IN KASHMIR"

Speaking at the Defense Day reception held at Pakistan House, Ambassador Dr. Yousaf Junaid criticized the UN resolutions specifically on Kashmir.

"Over the past 76 years, that is, since the founding of Pakistan in 1947, the enemy has given us three major wars, many conflicts and countless provocation attacks that have not turned into wars. They continue their illegal and immoral military occupation of Jammu and Kashmir and deny Kashmiris their right to self-determination in violation of all norms of international law and United Nations Security Council resolutions," Junaid said.

Junaid reiterated that Pakistan is committed to regional peace and security and has made significant contributions to global campaigns against terrorism and peacekeeping missions around the world.

The Ambassador stated that Pakistan believes in constructive interaction and solving problems through dialogue and peaceful coexistence, and thanked the Turkish nation for standing by Pakistan and the Pakistani people in their bad days.

"BILATERAL RELATIONS PROMOTE PEACE AND STABILITY"

In his speech, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat praised the exemplary and historical bilateral relations of the two countries, especially the developing defense ties and excellent cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries.

He stated that strategic and comprehensive Pakistan-Turkey bilateral relations are an important factor in the effort to promote peace and stability in the region and beyond.

GÜRAK: “PAKISTAN HAS SHOWED ITS BROTHERHOOD”

Chief of General Staff Gürak stated that there are deep-rooted ties of friendship and brotherhood between Turkey and Pakistan, and that the two countries have always been together.

Gürak reminded that Pakistan provided significant material and moral support to Turkey during the War of Independence and the Cyprus Peace Operation.

"Pakistan showed us its friendship and brotherhood once again by helping us with all his resources during the great earthquake disaster we were exposed to. The Turkish nation and we always remember these sacrifices with respect and gratitude," Gürak said.
