The "Martyrs' Night" program organized by Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) Başakşehir Branch was held at Çınar Congress Center on Sunday.

In the program, which witnessed great excitement, meaningful speeches were made while our martyrs were commemorated.

AGD Istanbul Branch President Mehmet Yaroğlu made the first speech in the program, which started with the recitation of the Holy Quran and continued with the reading of the National Anthem.

“WHEN I LOOKED AT SALEH AROURI, I SAW A LIVING MARTYR”

AGD Istanbul Branch President Mehmet Yaroğlu noted that the programs organized for 23 years have become a tradition.

"We were together with Saleh Arouri after the Al-Aqsa Flood. I looked at him and saw a martyr as a whole. I saw a living martyr. We made a promise to be together a month later, but it didn't happen because he was martyred. Each of the brave men in Gaza stands before us as Salih Aruri, Rantisi and Ahmed Yassin. How happy are those who are students of such a school and those who follow in the footsteps of our Erbakan Hodja," Yaroğlu said.

“WE WILL CONTINUE ON THIS PATH”

Mahmoud al-Rantisi, who made his speech after AGD Istanbul Provincial Chairman Mehmet Yaroğlu, also spoke emotional words.

Mahmoud al-Rantisi, a close relative of Martyr Abdelaziz al-Rantisi, "I thank AGD very much. I lived in Gaza for 30 years. I saw blockades and wars. October 7 was not only done to lift the blockade of Gaza, but also for Masjid al-Aqsa. Israel murders children and women. We have 30 thousand martyrs. We will continue on this path. My brother and mother-in-law were martyred. Our house was destroyed for the fourth time. But we will continue, this case is the Islamic case," he said.

“THE ISSUE IS TO BE A LIVING MARTYR”

AGD-MGV Chairman Salih Turhan was also among the participants of the Martyrs' Night program held in Başakşehir.

Speaking at the program, Turhan said, "As AGD, we have been performing Martyrs' Night programs for 23 years. We are making these programs not to remember our martyrs, but to make them a guide to our lives. I say it everywhere I go; We want martyrdom. Of course, martyrdom does not happen only by request; We also need to make the necessary planning. The point is to be a living martyr. We need to practice our lives according to the standards of Islam. Our brothers have been fighting for our honor since October 7. We do not see the struggle in Palestine as a racial struggle, we see it as a matter of faith."
