Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement on Twitter on Wednesday, "Israeli occupation aggression against Gaza Strip for the second day update: (23) citizens killed three of them are children and one woman. 71 others were injured, and 30 of them are children and 14 women".
Health authorities in Gaza said that the death toll due to Israeli bombing in Gaza raised to 23 and over 71 were injured.
The new wave of violence broke out on Tuesday after Israel killed senior Islamic Jihad Commander Baha Abu al-Atta and his wife in an airstrike on his house in eastern Gaza City.
