According to Fiem, El-Fahuri stated that the Palestinian female author is in good health and is with other female prisoners in a statement made through social networking sites.
Palestinian prisoner attorney Firas Es-Sabah announced on Thursday that the occupation regime military court in Askalan extended Palestinian woman writer Lema Hatir's 42-year-old detention period for the seventh time and one week.
Palestinian prisoner's club, in a statement on the issue, said that since 24 July, when Hatır was taken into custody, he was questioned severely at Askalan Prison.
It was noted that the occupation forces were pressuring Palestinian women to accept the accusations directed against him, and that Hatır denied reprisals for repression.
Journalist-writer Lema Hatır was married and had five children, and her husband, Hazım El-Fahuri, lived in Al-Halil.
