Years later, after the ice melted between Saudi Arabia and Iran and the negotiations started, the hope of peace arose in the negotiations in Yemen, which had been tired for years due to the internal conflict.
 
It was stated that concrete progress was made in the negotiations between the delegations from Saudi Arabia and Oman on peace-building with the Houthi authorities in Yemen.
 
Saudi Arabia paid a visit to Damascus for the first time since the war in Syria began. Qatar and Bahrain also decided to re-establish diplomatic relations between them.
 

YEMEN PRESIDENTIAL COUNCIL: “WE ARE FULLY READY FOR PEACE”

 
Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Council of Yemen, emphasized that they are fully ready for peace in the country.
 
Council President Alimi met with Thomas Lid Ball, Norwegian Ambassador to Sana'a, in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
 
During the meeting, developments in Yemen were discussed, including efforts to consolidate the ceasefire between the Houthis and the Yemeni government, to end humanitarian suffering and bring peace to the country.
 

CONSULATE SERVICES AND FLIGHTS STARTED BETWEEN SAUDI ARABIA AND SYRIA

 
Saudi Arabia and the Syrian regime announced that they were pleased with the consular services and the resumption of flights between the two countries.
 
After a break of nearly 12 years, a joint statement was made after Bashar Assad's Foreign Minister Faisal al-Miqdad met with Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan during his visit to Saudi Arabia.
 
During the meeting, it was noted that the efforts made to reach a political solution that would protect Syria's territorial integrity, Arab identity, stability and security were discussed.
 

QATAR AND BAHRAIN RE-SET DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS

 
The issues on the agenda were discussed at the Qatar Bahrain Monitoring Committee, which came together at the Gulf Cooperation Council General Secretariat in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, where the results of the first meeting of the common law and joint security committees were discussed.
 
Qatar and Bahrain decided to re-establish diplomatic relations between the two countries.
