After 20 years of occupation, the Islamic country of Afghanistan is experiencing a free Ramadan for the first time. Since the Taliban expelled the Crusader invaders from Afghanistan last August, the climate of peace in the country has become more effective with each passing day, while this year's Ramadan is being experienced in a more peaceful environment. In the bloody occupation initiated by the USA-NATO alliance in 2001 and lasting for 20 years, millions of Afghan Muslims suffered severe persecution, struggled with hunger and poverty, and were subjected to many injustices under the captivity of the invaders. Afghan Muslims are peacefully reviving the month of Ramadan when they are free again and there are no invaders in their country.
A SAFE RAMADAN WITH NO BOMBS EXPLOSED
The most obvious development in Afghanistan during this year's Ramadan is security. The people of Afghanistan, who have been hurt by terrorism and security problems for 20 years, have been in a serious comfort in terms of security since the Taliban came to power. While during the previous Ramadan, mosques, Qur'an courses and science centers were bombed in many parts of the country by the Crusader invaders and local collaborators, Muslims who came out of tarawih prayers were shot. After the Taliban took power in Afghanistan, the harsh punishments for terrorists who took the lives of innocent people increased the peace of the people of Afghanistan. While Muslims of Afghanistan can perform their tarawih prayers in peace this year, they can also do their iftar and sahur with peace of mind, albeit with limited opportunities.
