The pilgrim candidates, who first came to Mecca via Jeddah after departing from Turkey to the holy lands, began to pass to Medina, their second stop in the holy lands, after completing their mission.
Located in the Hijaz region, approximately 450 kilometers north of Mecca, Medina has an important position in the Islamic world, as it embraced Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in his migration from Mecca.
The pilgrims, who fulfill the obligation of pilgrimage, first go to the Masjid an-Nabawi and greet Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) after settling in their hotel in Medina, their second stop after Mecca.
In Masjid an-Nabawi, where Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) himself worked in the construction, Muslims first greet the Cell of Felicity, where the graves of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), Abu Bakr (r.a.) and Omar (r.a.) are located.
Afterwards, he prays and prays in the Rawda al-Mutahhara between the grave and pulpit of our Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
