Three road construction workers were killed in an armed attack by the terrorist group PKK in southeastern Turkey on Monday, according to the provincial governor’s office.
PKK terrorists attacked workers on a road construction site in the Dugundagi neighborhood of Sirnak province’s Uludere district, killing three of them.
Security forces have launched an operation in the area to apprehend the terrorists.
More than 1,200 people, including security personnel and civilians, have lost their lives since the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU -- resumed its decades-long armed campaign in July 2015.
