The local elections that the PKK terrorist organization planned to hold on June 11 to divide the north of Syria, which Milli Gazete had brought to the agenda in the previous days, had to be postponed after receiving a great reaction from the people of the region.
ARAB AND KURDISH GROUPS BOYCOTTED THE ELECTIONS
YPG, the Syrian branch of the PKK in the east of the Euphrates, decided to hold an illegitimate election to legitimize its presence in the areas it occupied.
The people of the region reacted greatly to this pirate choice of the organization.
Arab tribes and Kurdish groups opposing the PKK launched a boycott campaign, arguing that the election would serve the existence of the terrorist organization.
THREATS AND PRESSURE COULD NOT INTEREST THE PEOPLE OF THE REGION
Despite all threats and pressures, the boycott campaign was supported by the public.
As a result of the Turkish Foreign Ministry's regional and international initiatives against the elections, it made the organization say "no way".
The organization, which could not find the support it wanted from its patron, the USA, postponed the election date of June 11 to August.
During this period, the organization will try to get full support from the USA for the elections.
