CHP and MHP held weekly group meetings in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).
CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu charged the government with harsh words at his party's group meeting, while MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli criticized the opposition.
“WAIT FOR DECEMBER 3”
Kılıçdaroğlu, referring to the vision document he will announce on 3 December.
"O world, our people are not your cheap labor. Our country is not your refugee camp. Our land is not the landfill of your voice. Our neighborhoods aren't the swamps your drug lords run into. We are never, ever condemned to this darkness. We will call out to the world and say: We're here to compete with you. We will address the world at that vision meeting, we are coming to compete with you. Wait for December 3rd," he said.
"WE WILL SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF HONORARY QURAN COURSE TEACHERS"
Kılıçdaroğlu, who expressed the difficulties experienced by the honorary Qur'an course teachers, continued as follows:
Honorary Qur'an course teachers said, 'Why don't you talk about us?' They said that our rights are not delivered. They said they want a staff. There are 25 thousand honorary Qur'an course teachers. I read their explanations exactly; They ask for an interview score with the KPSS and Religious Services Field Knowledge test twice a year. We take the same tests to serve for 9 months in the winter term, we are interviewed, we start the job, at the end of 9 months they tell us to resign. We take the same exams again to serve for two months in the summer term, they say resign after two months. We trust our state, why are we not given staff? I saw that many politicians made statements. Years have passed and the words are still spoken. But I am calling out to these brothers, there is not much left, I will hand over your rights to you when we come to power in 6-7 months.
BAHÇELİ REQUESTS TO INCREASE THE PRESIDENTIAL TERMS
MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli evaluated the Constitution proposal of Six Opposition Party as "nonsense, distortion" and made harsh criticisms.
Continuing his criticism of the Six Table's constitutional amendment proposal, Bahçeli said, "It is a conspiracy of a disabled political intelligence that the aim of the prepared proposal is to remove the Presidential Government System and to ensure the transition to the Strengthened Parliamentary System."
Bahçeli, who also reacted to the 7-year single-term presidential election in the study announced by Six Opposition Party, "As the People's Alliance, what will you do if we say that 2 is not enough, let it be 3?" he added.
