The martyrs of the Ummah were commemorated once again in the Martyrs' Night programs organized by the Anatolian Youth Association.
Attention was drawn to the human tragedy in Gaza.
Thousands of citizens attended the programs held in Izmir, Adana and Muş.
Martyrs' Night programs organized by the Anatolian Youth Association in many cities in February continue at full speed.
The programs organized in February, which is considered the month of martyrs, were held in Muş, Izmir and Adana this week.
In addition to theatrical performances, in programs where melodies were performed, prayers were made for the martyrs, and the occupying Israel was cursed and condemned once again.
AGD and MGV Chairman Salih Turhan also participated in the Martyrs' Night program held in Izmir.
Turhan made remarkable statements in the program. Turhan, who once again drew attention to the human tragedy in Gaza, reminded us of what should not be forgotten.
Calling on everyone to stand against the occupying Israel, Turhan sent greetings to the glorious struggle of the mujahideen.
“WE CANNOT LOOK AT PALESTINE AS A LAND ISSUE”
In his speech, Turhan stated that in order for a person to be granted martyrdom, that person must make maximum efforts to make Islam dominant in every moment of his life.
"Gaza and Jerusalem are not just an issue for those living in that region. Jerusalem is our first qibla, the place where the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) ascended to ascension. We cannot look at Palestine as a land issue. It is our spiritual responsibility to protect Jerusalem and Gaza," Turhan said.
“EVERY MUSLIM SHOULD SUPPORT TO THE RANGE OF THEIR OWN POWER”
"The biggest support point of the resistance in Palestine is the determination of the Palestinian mujahideen, the Qassam Brigades, to practice Islam. Every Muslim should support the Palestinian cause within his own power and means. Jihad is a worship performed with both life and property, it lasts until the last breath. If we do not reduce the comfort in our lives, we cannot reveal the will and power to wage jihad," Turhan added.
“POLITICAL WILL NEEDS TO TAKE CONCRETE STEPS”
Turhan noted that a persecution has been going on in the region for months.
"Regarding Gaza, our people and non-governmental organizations made press statements, marches, rallies, boycotts, etc. They carried out such actions. Our media organs have tried and are still trying to keep this issue on the agenda. These have now become routine, but nothing has changed for about 140 days. At this point, political will also needs to take concrete steps," Turhan said.
