The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry signed a big scandal about companies that imitate and adulterate food.

While it was determined that pork meat used in the products of two companies in Ankara and Aydın, the ministry disclosed these companies to the public exactly 19 months later.

Since the sampling dates were not disclosed to the public, it is not known when and how much pork sausage and minced meat were sold.

The counterfeit and adulteration list was normally supposed to be published every 3 months.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry made history regarding the disclosure of fraudulent companies in food!

For the first time in the history of the Ministry, the list of counterfeiting and adulteration was published after 19 months.

While the question of why the list of imitation and adulteration, which should normally be published every 3 months, has not been published for 19 months despite the insistent publications of the Milli Gazete, remains unanswered, and a major scandal has also been signed.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry drew attention to the fact that there are companies that use horse and donkey meat, especially pork meat, in meat products in the list of imitation and adulteration published after a 19-month hiatus.

While equine (horse, donkey) meat was detected in the products of 16 companies, pork was found in the products of two companies.

SAMPLE DATES OF THE PRODUCTS USING PORK MEAT ARE NOT STATED

While pork was detected in the sausage produced by Öz Yenikent Family Butcher in Ankara and in the pita stuffing of Aşçım Umut company in Aydın, the sampling dates of the products with pork meat were not specified for some reason, although the sampling dates of other products were specified in the published list.

The hiding of the sample dates of the products with pork detected in the counterfeit and adulteration list published by the Ministry once again revealed the righteousness of Milli Gazete's news about why the counterfeit and adulteration list has not been published for 19 months.

IS THIS HOW THE MINISTRY COMBAT WITH COUNTERFEIT?

If the sample dates of the products in which pork was detected had been specified, the ministry would have documented the scandal experienced here with its own hand. Because, while the counterfeit and adulteration list has not been published since September 15, 2020, if the sample dates were written on the products using pork products, the question of why the ministry had not disclosed these companies, which disregard the public's health, would have come to the fore for 19 months. By not specifying the sampling dates of these companies, the Ministry missed the public's attention about the scandal.
