Intensive legislative work awaits MPs in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (Turkish Grand National Assembly) this week.
The General Assembly, which will start its weekly work on Tuesday, October 17, will discuss the Presidential memorandum regarding the extension of the permit to send troops to Iraq and Syria for another 2 years.
The bill regarding renting houses for tourism purposes and paying 5 thousand liras to retirees is expected to be discussed in the General Assembly.
DAILY HOUSE RENTAL REGULATION AT GENERAL ASSEMBLY'S AGENDA
The proposal includes obtaining a permit to rent houses for tourism purposes, and imposing an administrative fine of 1 million lira on those who continue their rental activities for tourism purposes without a permit and those who rent the same house more than 4 times within a year from the date of the first contract.
In addition, the proposal envisages a one-time payment of 5 thousand liras to retirees, with the creation of an article in the Planning and Budget Commission.
BUDGET WILL BE SUBMITTED TO THE ASSEMBLY
The 12th Development Plan, which is determined as a holistic road map that will ensure the realization of the sustainable and inclusive growth target, will be presented to the Parliament.
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz is planned to make a presentation regarding the 12th Development Plan at the Planning and Budget Commission on Tuesday, October 17.
In addition, the 2024 Central Government Budget Law Proposal will be presented to the Turkish Grand National Assembly in the same week.
Vice President Yılmaz is expected to make a presentation on the budget at the Planning and Budget Commission on October 20.
Human Rights Investigation Commission Convict and Detainee Rights Investigation Sub-Commission will meet.
Group meetings of the political parties that have groups in the Parliament will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday.
