National Opinion leader Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan commemorated with prayers over 8th anniversary of his passing away in Ankara.
This year's theme 'Commemoration and Understanding of Erbakan' program organized by the Saadet Party in the Ministry of National Education hall with the title 'kindness and honesty'.
Intense participation occured in the program, political party representatives, NGO representatives, local and foreign mission chiefs and thousands of Erbakan lovers attended.
The program, which started with the reading of the National Anthem, continued with the Holy Quran recitation.
In the program, while cinevision demonstrations of the life of Erbakan Hodja were presented, the slogans of 'Mojahed Erbakan' were frequently thrown in the hall.
Speaking at the Remembrance and Understanding Program for Erbakan, Saadet Party General Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu reminded that they tried to understand Erbakan Hodja in a different direction this year, "The subject of this year's commemoration programs; 'Honesty and kindness'. I would like to express that I found this theme to be very important and meaningful because in no time did the problem of style and courtesy have emerged in politics. Political morality and honesty have never been so questioned and discussed. It is clear that we now need more than ever to understand the kindness and nobility of Erbakan," he said.
Karamollaoğlu, "To put it more clearly; never steeped but always stood upright. The Chairman of the High Advisory Board of the Saadet Party, Oğuzhan Asiltürk, who held the closing speech of the Remembrance and Understanding Program of Erbakan, underlined that Erbakan Hodja was a perfect statesman, and said, "A true knowledgeman is a human being who forgives even those who host him. and a true fighter. He completed his life in a way that suits these qualities. All the National Opinionists are witnessed, he began to live until the end of the realization of himself, never bothered himself, and worked personally with his goods and lives. And he spent his days in service to serve the reality of Islam. What he has done for Allah's sake," he said.
Speaking at the program, İyi (Good) Party President Meral Akşener said, "I have had the honor of working together throughout my life and learned a lot in that period. The important thing I learned from our late teacher was to be national and native but to be really national and native. This is the most important legacy of our teacher," she said.
