The 46th anniversary of "Hak-İş" Confederation was celebrated with a program held the previous evening. Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security, also attended the program. In his speech, Bilgin again promised hope regarding temporary workers. Although three months have passed since the promise that the problems of temporary workers would be resolved during the fires, the Ministry still did not take a step.

Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security, made promising statements of 8,600 temporary forest workers who were employed in the forest for 9 months and 29 days during the forest fires that started in the Manavgat district of Antalya and affected almost the entire Mediterranean. The minister had promised a "solution" to the problems of temporary forest workers.

Although three months have passed since the "solution" promise given by Minister Bilgin regarding temporary forest workers employed for 9 months and 29 days, no step has been taken from the Ministry yet. Nearly 9,000 forest workers, who have come to the end of their working period and are therefore sent home, want their promises to be kept.

THREE MONTHS HAVE PASSED SINCE THE SOLUTION PROMISE

However, although nearly three months have passed since the promise was made, no step was taken by the Ministry. In these days when the working period of temporary forest workers is over and thousands of workers are sent to their homes, nearly 9 thousand forest workers are waiting for the minister to take steps regarding their grievances and fulfill the promise made by the minister.
