The process regarding the promises made for hundreds of thousands of employees who have been working as contract personnel in the public sector for years is constantly being extended.

Two different practices continue among public personnel working under contract in the same institution.

In 2018, the transition of the civil servants who got into employment with the 3+1 formula, that is, the term contract model, which was introduced to some of the contracted assignments, was completed. However, the appointments of public employees with indefinite contracts who started working before 2018 have not been made yet.

Public personnel, who started to work on an indefinite contract, want this situation to be resolved.

Even though their institutions are the same, there are two different practices among contracted personnel, as temporary and indefinite contracts.

With these two differences, no matter how many years a party has worked, appointments cannot be made, while the other party can earn the right to work for 3+1 years.

With the 3+1 contract working arrangement introduced in 2018, many employees entered the staff, while those who worked before 2018 with indefinite contracts were not appointed.

DIFFERENT PRACTICES LEAD TO INEQUALITIES

With the 3+1 regulation made in 2018, if religious officials and teachers working in many institutions started to work before the regulation, indefinite contracted personnel, and contracted personnel after 2018 were included in the 3+1 system.

While a public employee who was hired before the 3+1 contract was valid, works on an indefinite contract, another public employee hired with the same conditions after this date can work for 3 years and have the right to request an appointment after 1 year.

Very different practices for the same status in the public sector lead to inequalities among employees.

MUST BE MADE EQUAL

Public officials working in the same institution, but suffering from the start date of their contracts, called for the double standard to be ended.

While calling for the recruitment of those who started working after 2018 as well as those who started before 2018, it was pointed out that the difference should be ended as soon as possible and the employees should be brought into an equal situation.
