The latest events in India, which has been on the agenda with cases of violence against Muslims for a long time, were the last straw. The immoral insults of two high-level executives from the Bharatiya Janata Party, which governs India, against the religion of Islam and the our beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) aroused the Islamic world. While Nupur Sharma, spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party, made ugly statements targeting the blessed person of the Prophet (pbuh) in a television broadcast he attended, the New Delhi Media Director of the ruling party BJP, Naveen Kumar Jindal who lashed out at the Prophet (pbuh) on Twitter on June 1, had a great impact, especially in Arab countries.
Muslims living in countries such as Egypt, Kuwait, Jordan, Qatar and Saudi Arabia shared millions of tweets with the hashtag #AllahRasuluneDilUzatmaModi to show their reactions to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his party BJP.
ISLAMIC COUNTRIES BECOME ONE VOICE AGAINST INDIA
The governments of the Islamic states, which did not remain indifferent to the anger of the people also made diplomatic reactions to the Indian administration. While calling the Indian ambassadors in Kuwait, Qatar and Iran to the Foreign Ministries, a protest note was given to India, while the Saudi Arabian government called on India to apologize to the Muslims.
“THE MUSLIM WORLD SHOULD PUNISH THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA”
Ali Qaradaghi, Secretary General of the World Union of Muslim Scholars, said in a statement on the subject, “Insulting the sacred is the behavior of extremists who cause strife and shed blood. Societies do not rise by damaging the sanctity of others. Islamic countries should boycott India economically and punish the ruling party of this country. The Indian government should formally apologize to all Muslims.”
“CRIME OF HATE AND VIOLENCE AGAINST MUSLIMS COMMITTED”
In a statement made by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), “These actions have resulted in an increase in hatred and contempt for Islam in India. It is the result of systematic discrimination and oppression against Muslims. We know that headscarves are banned in educational institutions in some parts of India and buildings belonging to Muslims have been demolished. These practices fuel violence. We call on the Indian authorities to resolutely oppose this incident and any insult to the Prophet (pbuh), and bring to justice those who commit crimes of hatred and violence against Muslims, as well as those who instigate them,” the statement said.
HYPOCRITICAL ACT FROM PRIME MINISTER MODI
Reactions from the Islamic world made the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi take a step back. The racist and anti-Muslim party announced that it had expelled two party leaders who caused the scandal in the face of international backlash. The racist Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is currently the chief perpetrator of crimes against Muslims in many states of India, is not sincere in this move. It is commented that he implemented a hypocritical policy in order to placate the rising reactions from the Islamic world.
