While the exorbitant increase in sunflower oil prices continues to strain the home economy, citizens do not miss even the smallest discount opportunity. The Turkish Grain Board's (TMO) sale of 5 liters of sunflower oil for 99 TL caused long queues in Tekirdağ and Kütahya despite the cold weather. The queue for only 10 TL of cheap oil from chain markets was a description of the economic situation of the citizen.
