With rap music popularized by imperialist culture, our cultural and spiritual values are eroding day by day.

Gangsta Rap songs, which have emerged in the American music markets and have become widespread in our country in recent years, include sexuality, drugs and many illegal crimes.

Rappers, often followed by young people and children, have been prosecuted for drug abuse and drug abuse.

Specialist psychologist Gülten Demirdöven, who spoke to our newspaper about the issue, drew attention to the importance of controlling the internet and social media by the state.

THE STATE AND THE FAMILY SHOULD PROTECT THE CHILD'S ETHICS TOGETHER

Gülten Demirdöven, an expert psychologist, stated that the measures taken by the family against the harmful content of social media and internet such as rap music filled with negative content were insufficient.

"It is the job of the state to prevent such incentives and bad examples. If the child has a phone, a tablet and a computer, it is possible to protect it from negative examples. No matter how much the family warns, adolescents and children can still access such content. As we always say, the state and the family should protect the moral values of the child together," she said.

THE PROBLEMS OF DRUGS IN OUR COUNTRY ARE WELL KNOWN

Gülten Demirdöven, who also emphasized the drug emphasis in rap music, "There are problems with drugs in our country and how much families struggle in the fight against drugs is obvious. Therefore, the state should clearly punish the law with regard to content that sets negative examples. One moment caught with cannabis in Turkey, 'I'm not selling, I'm using' well supervised when permissiveness is left. In this way, the fight against drugs is not. Serious measures should be taken by the state about the things that harm our youth and children," she added.
