Mankind, who remained in the darkness and lived the period of ignorance, started to live its golden age with the descent of the Qur'an.
THE MONTH THAT TAKES ITS VALUE FROM THE QURAN
Valuing the month in which it was revealed, making that month the sultan of eleven months, valuing the night it was revealed and making that night better than a thousand months, the Quran has been penetrating the heart of those who have been in his life for 1400 years, and if it enters his life, it also makes him valuable, at the level of perfect people. taking it out.
In order to better understand the value of Ramadan and to make better use of it, we must first understand why the month of Ramadan is important and why this month is valued.
The fact that the month of Ramadan is so precious is because our Creator values it. In this month, the last divine book was sent down to humanity.
Mankind, who remained in the darkness and lived the period of ignorance, started to live its golden age with the descent of the Qur'an. Companions were likened to shining stars in the sky by our Prophet.
The main element of this transformation is the Qur'an. Let us recall the following verse as an indicator of the value our Creator gives to the month of Ramadan.
The Qur'an states the following for the month of Ramadan:
"Ramaḍân is the month in which the Quran was revealed as a guide for humanity with clear proofs of guidance and the standard ˹to distinguish between right and wrong˺. So whoever is present this month, let them fast." (Baqara 185)
THE ONLY GUIDE QURAN
The only guide to bring goodness to our world and our hereafter is the Qur'an. The real guide to guidance is the Qur'an, which distinguishes between good and bad, right and wrong, sin and reward.
The Qur'an is the book in which the things that Allah (c.c.) will be pleased with are told. For this or many other reasons, this should be what we think about while reading our hatims.
It should be in our minds while we fast. There is no Ramadan without the Qur'an. A Ramadan is incomplete in which the Qur'an is not brought to life. It is the most fundamental duty of a believer to stick to the Qur'an, which will beautify our heart, our mind, body and soul, purify our souls, and protect us against the delusions of the devil.
Before the Qur'an came, the condition of the people was miserable. When the Qur'an began to be sent with a blessed messenger, Muhammad Mustafa (pbuh), people's lives changed, became different, and became more beautiful.
Let's remember the following verse of our Almighty Lord together:
"And hold firmly to the rope of Allah1 and do not be divided. Remember Allah’s favour upon you when you were enemies, then He united your hearts, so you—by His grace—became brothers. And you were at the brink of a fiery pit and He saved you from it. This is how Allah makes His revelations clear to you, so that you may be ˹rightly˺ guided." (Ali Imran 103)
