The application process of candidates who want to become a member of parliament by being elected under the umbrella of the Saadet Party in the Turkish Grand National Assembly has ended.
This year, 1,039 candidates applied to the Saadet Party, which attracts great attention from all segments of society, especially academics.
Following the evaluations to be made until April 8, the candidate lists for parliamentary positions will be submitted to the Supreme Election Board.
The Saadet Party continues to examine the applications of candidates who want to become a member of parliament in the new term.
The interview processes of the parliamentary candidates, to which 1,039 people from different parts of Turkey applied, continue at the party headquarters.
1,039 APPLICATIONS MADE TO THE SAADET PARTY
Turkey will go to the polls on May 14 to elect its president and deputies.
According to the figures announced by the Supreme Election Board throughout the country, it is stated that 190 thousand 736 ballot boxes will be established, while more than 60 million voters will go to the polls and vote.
According to the election calendar announced by the Supreme Election Board, while the presidential candidacy application process is completed, the parliamentary candidate lists must be submitted to the YSK by 9 April.
For this reason, the process of evaluating the parliamentary candidacy lists at the headquarters of political parties has accelerated.
The Saadet Party, which created its program by adjusting its work according to the election calendar, started the application process on March 11.
During the candidacy application process, which attracted attention from all segments of the society, 1.039 citizens, together with academics and youth, as well as names who were involved in politics in different parties in the past, applied for candidacy in order to enter the Grand National Assembly of Turkey under the umbrella of the Saadet Party.
CANDIDATES FOR PARLIAMENTARY WILL BE SHOWED IN 87 ELECTIONS
According to the calendar shared by the Saadet Party, the evaluation processes of 1,039 citizens who applied for candidacy for parliamentary candidates continue through interviews.
Citizens from all over Turkey will make an effort to become a local candidate by introducing themselves to the party officials in the interview commissions.
After the 3-day interview process, the lists created by the people who passed the commission will be evaluated by the work of the Presidency Council.
Election lists will be created based on provincial tendencies, evaluations and surveys, to be coordinated by the Headquarters.
The Saadet Party, which will nominate candidates in all 87 electoral districts, will submit the list it will form on April 9 to the Supreme Election Board.
