Turkish Sugar Factories (TÜRKŞEKER), which is one of Turkey's strategic establishments and the umbrella organization of 15 sugar factories in the hands of the state, was blatantly sunk!

The period of Mücahit Alkan, who was dismissed, went down in history as a dark period. The fact that sugar prices were not increased due to political concerns in the face of increasing inflation increased the loss of TÜRKŞEKER and dragged it into a huge debt trap of 7.5 billion liras.

THE NEW GENERAL MANAGER MADE A RISE TO KEEP TÜRKŞEKER NOT FAIL!

Muhiddin Şahin, who was appointed as the chairman and general manager of TÜRŞEKER, had to increase the sugar prices, which were very cheap in the face of increasing inflation.

While the costs of the mistakes made in the past were heavy for the institution, the new General Manager increased the price of sugar with shelf price guaranteed from 7.8 liras to 13 liras, and the price of sugar given to manufacturers from 11 liras to 15 liras.

Although the increase in sugar prices by more than 60 percent caused reactions in the public, this hike, which has not been made until now, also revealed how TÜRKŞEKER was bankrupt in the face of high inflation.

While TÜRKŞEKER TARIM sells the sugar with shelf price guarantee, which is given to some chain markets, especially in Tarım Kredi Markets, for the so-called citizen to buy sugar at a more affordable price in the face of increasing sugar prices, only because of the packaging business, by putting it over 4 to 5 liras per kilo, this reveals the emphasis here. It also increased TÜRKŞEKER's losses.

TÜRKŞEKER SELL SUGAR TO TÜRKŞEKER AGRICULTURE FOR 7.8 LIRA, WHILE CITIZEN BUY SUGAR AT 25 LIRA IN MARKETS!

While sugar prices have increased 5 times in the last 8 months, the last year has gone down in history as a dark period for TÜRKŞEKER.

Despite the economic crisis in the country, the increase in the exchange rate and inflation, the fact that the price of sugar sold by TÜRKŞEKER was not increased at the rate of the increase in the input costs, both caused a great loss to the institution and caused a great sugar crisis in the market.

While all this was going on, TÜRKŞEKER's use of TÜRKŞEKER TARIM as an intermediary, rather than directly selling the sugar it produced, both increased the costs of sugar and opened the door to a great lack of control in the sales of cheap sugars.

WILL SUGAR SALES CONTINUE TO BE MADE THROUGH TÜRKŞEKER AGRICULTURE?

Although it has no function, the use of TÜRKŞEKER TARIM as an intermediary in sugar sales raises serious doubts, and it is not known whether this structure will continue in the new period.

GREAT SECRET AT TÜRKŞEKER AGRICULTURE!

The mysterious nature of TÜRKŞEKER TARIM, which should be managed in a transparent way, also draws attention.

While there is no information about the chairman, members and general manager of the Board of Directors on the official website of the institution, there is no information about the criteria by which hundreds of thousands of tons of sugar, pulp and molasses are sold through TÜRKŞEKER TARIM and to whom they are sold.

TÜRKŞEKER TARIM was established in 2020 as a joint stock company, 51 percent of which belongs to the foundation participation bank and 49 percent to TÜRKŞEKER.

However, with the transfer of TÜRKŞEKER to the Wealth Fund, it became a subsidiary of TÜRKŞEKER, 51 percent of which belongs to the foundation participation bank and 49 percent to the Wealth Fund.

TO WHOM ARE THE HIGH TONS OF SUGAR SALES DONE?

While private and cooperative factories increased sugar, the fact that TÜRKŞEKER did not raise sugar caused the institution to lose.

It is not known to whom cheap candies are sold through TÜRKŞEKER TARIM.
Although there are serious allegations that unfair benefits are provided to these individuals and institutions by selling sugar to certain interest groups at very low prices, it is of great importance that how many liras and how much sugar was sold to which groups through TÜRKŞEKER and TÜRKŞEKER TARIM between January 1, 2022 and May 31, 2022.

With the emergence of this information, the extent of sugar corruption alleged by TÜRKŞEKER and TÜRKŞEKER TARIM will also be revealed.

MİLLİ GAZETE DOES IT'S MISSION... EXPLORES CORRUPTION WITH THE DOCUMENTS

Despite the fact that the Milli Gazete revealed the sale of barley, wheat and chickpeas a year ago, as well as TÜRKŞEKER TARIM, no action was taken against the perpetrators of this corruption. Covering up the favor that was attracted to the affiliate companies also made the sales of hundreds of thousands of tons of sugar made through TÜRKŞEKER TARIM dubious.
