Saadet Party Kocaeli Provincial Women's Branch Chairwoman Reyhan Şengün addressed the members of the organization at the monthly council meeting held in the air of a rally. At the meeting where the country's problems were discussed, the Saadet Party Kocaeli Provincial Women's Branch commission reports were also presented. Pointing to the bad course in the economy, Reyhan Şengün underlined that the fight against inflation is a humanitarian duty and necessity, and stated that the programs and staff of the Saadet Party are ready for both the elections and the government.
“ECONOMIC PROBLEMS CONTINUE TO HURT OUR PEOPLE”
Stating that there is a survival problem in inflation, Saadet Party Kocaeli Provincial Women's Branch President Reyhan Şengün said, “With the determination to build a prosperous, democratic, fair and rightful Turkey, where our 85 million people will find peace, security, order and profit, we are here today with this determination to hold this meeting. The real survival problem is high inflation. Economic problems continue to hurt our people for a long time. It continues to dynamite and shatter our social peace. Unfortunately, high inflation is not just about statistical figures that change once a month. High inflation means deepening and chronic poverty.”
“INFLATION IN BRIEF MEANS SOCIAL DESTRUCTION”
Reyhan Şengün stated that high inflation brought life to a standstill and said, “Failure to meet basic needs means the destruction of social peace. Thus, it means that the country is caught in the whirlpool of social, economic and political instability. High inflation with the poverty it causes, means our children who are the guarantee of our future, not being fed. It's a fertile ground for young people to get bogged down in drugs, and inflation is like a poison ivy that shakes moral foundations and social bonds. In short, inflation means social destruction. High Inflation is literally a ‘survival’ problem for the country. Fighting inflation is a humanitarian duty and necessity.”
