In the studies carried out by the Istanbul Provincial Police Department Traffic Control Branch Directorate, regarding the images shared on social media; On July 29, 2022, an operation was carried out against the person who endangered traffic safety by drifting on Halkalı Street in Bağcılar district. While the identity of the person in question was determined, the person named B.Ö. was caught by the civilian traffic teams and taken into custody.
After the operation, B.Ö. was given an administrative fine of 9,748 Turkish Liras (TL). In addition, because the person violated article 67/1-D (drift) for the second time in 5 years, his driver's license was permanently revoked and he was subject to the 179/2nd article of the Turkish Penal Code with the content of ‘using transportation vehicles in a way that endanger the safety of life and property of persons’.
