Ruling AK Party to visit parties for new constitution

After President Erdoğan's announcement of the new constitution in the Turkish Grand National Assembly, the AK Party group is going on a tour of the new constitution today.

The commission phase of the constitutional negotiations is expected to start in the new year or after the budget negotiations.
 
The People's Alliance rolled up its sleeves for the new constitution. Following President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's call for a new constitution at the opening of the new legislative year in the parliament, the AK Party delegation begins its visit tour to opposition parties.
 
While the AK Party delegation is expected to start its visit tour with the CHP today, process management will be discussed.
 

AK PARTY WILL VISIT THE GROUPS IN THE PARLIAMENT THIS WEEK

 
The government is preparing to make its local election strategy based on the constitution.
 
The AK Party delegation will start their party visits today under the chairmanship of AK Party GNAT Group Chairman Abdullah Güler.
 
The visits are planned to be held this week with CHP, MHP, İYİ Party, HDP/YSP and Felicity Party groups.
 
While HDP/YSP visits are expected to leave their mark on the local election process, it is stated that trustee and local government issues will be on the agenda during this visit.
 

MEETINGS WILL START AFTER THE BUDGET MEETING

 
Within the scope of the visits, the AK Party plans to bring the work on the new constitution to the commission. It is reported that the process in question will begin after the budget negotiations.
 
At the same time, it is stated that the previous constitutional studies will also come to the table. It is stated that opposition parties may support constitutional studies. AK Party will also knock on the doors of unions, associations and professional organizations for the new constitution.
