Saadet Party Bursa Provincial Vice President İbrahim Özacar and Saadet Party Bursa Provincial Executive Board members and Saadet Party Nilüfer and Yıldırım district presidents visited Bursa Fish Market Association President Ziya Sidal and fish market tradesmen. İbrahim Özacar presented the book Necmettin Erbakan’s Davam to Ziya Sidal, while Ziya Sidal presented a watch as a gift. The visit was followed with great interest by members of the local media. During the visit, where the problems of fishermen were discussed, mutual exchange of ideas and evaluations were made. İbrahim Özacar, who stated that they were welcomed with tolerance and pleasure, made good wishes for the new fish season.
“FISH INDUSTRY NEEDS TO HAVE A SEPARATE CHAMBER”
Saadet Party Bursa Provincial Vice President İbrahim Özacar stated that he met with the heads of the chambers on behalf of the fishermen's problems and said, “The fish industry needs to have a separate chamber. This issue was discussed further with the president of Bursa Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen (BESOB). I talked before. When I asked, ‘Do the fishermen have their own room?’, he replied that it did not have such a room, and that the sellers in the market were attached to the marketers' room. He conveyed to us that the fixed sellers are also affiliated with the meat and fish institution.”

Bursa Fish Market Association President Ziya Sidal, who stated that they send fish to many points of Turkey, said, “We send fish to many points of Turkey. We ship fish from here to Kütahya, Diyarbakır, Batman, Elazığ, Ağrı, Amasya, Bilecik, Balıkesir Bandırma, Marmara, East and Southeast regions. Anchovy will arrive soon and we will send anchovy to Diyarbakır. Our country is surrounded by seas on three sides, but we do not have a ministry. In some countries there is no sea at all, but there is a ministry of maritime. Our costs are too high. Each of the white boxes in which we pack the fish is 30 Turkish Liras (TL). We use this box once and it goes to waste.”
