"In the most difficult days when the maps were redesigned after the First World War and our geography tried to be dominated by imperialist invasions, the independence and freedom love of our saint nation has ruined the plans of imperialism."
"The result of our independence struggle was crowned with the republic. Therefore, the Republic means to stand against the current world order. This is one of the deepest meanings underlying the Republic."
"Another meaning of the Republic means that our saint nation is one and together. As a matter of fact, when we look at the conditions in which the Republic was proclaimed and the historical atmosphere, it is clear that all our nation came together without any discrimination."
"For this reason, we see and understand the Republic as a determined and honorable stance against imperialist domination, unity and solidarity against those who want to sow the seeds of this geography."
"With these feelings and thoughts, I congratulate the 96th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic, and I commemorate the many martyrs of the Independence Struggle and the saint martyrs who made this land homeland, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk."
