Last minute explanation came about the Presidential election candidacy to be held on 24 June 2018 from Saadet Party. "The final decision for the candidacy of the President will be shared with at a program to be held in Ankara on Tuesday, May 1, 2018", the statement made by Saadet Party.
In the written statement made by the Saadet Party General Center, the following statements were made:
"Our country will go on an important election on Sunday, June 24th.
The Saadet Party has made the necessary evaluations in its competent bodies for this historic election and in the light of the meticulously conducted questionnaires, consultations and negotiations, the final decision for the candidacy of the President of the Party will be shared at a program to be held in Ankara on 1 May 2018.
Our party will continue its efforts to contribute to the democracy and compromise culture of our country in the future as it was in the previous period.
