Mustafa Saral's name was announced for mayoral candidacy in the program attended by Saadet Party Deputy Chairman and Antalya Deputy Şerafettin Kılıç.
Speaking at the program, Kılıç said, "There is a need for Milli Görüş and Saadet Party. We are in the Turkish Grand National Assembly as a group for the first time since 2002. A voice came to the Parliament. We will be the strongest party in the 2028 elections after March 31, we believe this."
Saadet Party Of District Presidency announced the Of mayoral candidate to the public with the "Announcing the Of Candidate" program held at Of Sahil Günbatımı Facilities.
With the candidate introduction meeting held, it was stated that Saadet Party's candidate for mayor of Of in the local administrations general elections to be held on March 31, 2024 is Mustafa Saral.
Saadet Party Deputy Chairman and Antalya Deputy Şerafettin Kılıç also addressed the participants in the "Of Announces Its Candidate" program.
He stated that they hope that the Saadet Party will win the March 31 elections and that they will win the election in Of as well.
Speaking about the genocide in Palestine, Kılıç emphasized that if the National Vision comes to power again, the blood and tears will end.
"There is a need for Milli Görüş and Saadet Party. We must all strive. Milli Görüş means; It means shouting the truth," Kılıç said.

Saadet Party Antalya Deputy Şerafettin Kılıç noted that Milli Görüş should come to power again.
Criticizing the government, Kılıç said, "We are in the Turkish Grand National Assembly as a group for the first time since 2002. Color and sound came to the Parliament. We continue to be the voice of the oppressed. We will be the strongest party in the 2028 elections after March 31, we believe this. I hope you will elect our brother Mustafa Saral as mayor of Of."

Mustafa Saral, who was announced as the mayor of Saadet Party, also addressed the participants with applause.
Saral started his speech by thanking everyone who supported him.
"During this election period, our people will see and experience what can actually be done for Of, what the people of Of can do, in the visits and studies we will carry out, and in the plans and projects we will put forward! And after today, nothing will be the same again!" Saral said.
