Ali Osman Karahan was appointed as the Provincial President by the Headquarters instead of Bursa Provincial Chairman Mehmet Atmaca, who resigned on the occasion of being a deputy candidate in the General Elections of 14 May 2023.
Serving for a better understanding of Milli Görüş Movement in Bursa for years, Atmaca became the CHP's Bursa 3rd deputy candidate.
Ali Osman Karahan, who took over the duty of Bursa Provincial Chairman of Saadet Party, had undertaken many duties in Saadet Party and various Milli Görüş Organizations (MILKO) for years.
Karahan, who was a geological engineer, was the Bursa Provincial Political Affairs Chairman of the Saadet Party.
WHO IS ALI OSMAN KARAHAN?
He was born in 1974 in Artvin Yusufeli. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Bursa, and his undergraduate education in 1998 at Kocaeli University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Geological Engineering.
After his military service, he gave engineering services in various units in the construction of Artvin Deriner Dam since 1999.
He started to work on “Soil and Foundation Study” in 2004 and still continues these studies.
Karahan, who served at various levels of the Saadet Party, was the last Bursa provincial head of political affairs.
Karahan is married and has 3 children.
