Saadet Party Gebze District President Mustafa Turel and Saadet Party Gebze District Board members went to Gebze Intercity Bus Terminal and made a press statement regarding the Gebze Terminal tender. The press release was followed with great interest by local media members. Noting that one month has passed since the tender of the Gebze Intercity Bus Terminal, which was announced to be held on August 3, has not been made, Mustaf Turel criticized Gebze Mayor Zinnur Büyükgöz in the press statement by asking important questions about whether the tender was realized or not.
“THIS TERMINAL IS NOT SUITABLE FOR GEBZE”
Saadet Party Gebze District President Mustafa Turel, who asked Gebze Mayor Zinnur Büyükgöz about the fate of the Gebze Intercity Bus Terminal tender, said, “Gebze is known as a huge district with its population and contribution to our country's economy and industry. The intercity bus terminal of Gebze, Turkey's economy and information base, which has a large share of 15 percent of the country's economy, is in a deplorable state. Last Eid-al-Adha, we reacted by saying that this terminal does not suit Gebze, so that a more modern terminal should be built that suits our region and meets the needs of our people.”
“INFORM THE PUBLIC”
Stating that the public was curious about the Gebze Intercity Bus Terminal tender, Mustafa Turel said, “The Gebze terminal tender will be held on August 3, it was the subject of the news in the press. We were pleased that it was a positive development for Gebze. Although a month has passed, the public is wondering whether any steps have been taken regarding the tender. No public statement has been made. We call Büyükgöz from here. Did the tender take place on August 3? If there was a tender, how many companies and which companies participated in the tender? How much is the tender estimated value? What changes in the intercity bus terminal will be, will it be add-ons, or will it be a new terminal? Mr. Büyükgöz, inform the public. Was the tender made or not? As the public, we are curious about the answers to all these questions.”
