A funeral prayer was performed for Hilmi Babacan, the deceased father of DEVA Party Chairman Ali Babacan, at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli Mosque.
After the funeral prayer, the late Babacan was buried with prayers at Karşıyaka Cemetery.
Former President Abdullah Gül, former Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Bülent Arınç, Chairman of Saadet Party Temel Karamollaoğlu, Leader of Gelecek Party Ahmet Davutoğlu, Deputy Chairman of the AK Party Abdulhamit Gül, Deputy Chairman of the İYİ Party Group Erhan Usta, Chairman of the Democratic Party Gültekin Uysal, CHP Former Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, former President of the Constitutional Court Haşim Kılıç, former minister Abdulkadir Aksu and many former MPs and relatives of the family attended the funeral.
