Saadet Party Eskişehir Provincial Youth Branch announced that they started a petition campaign to close the Incirlik and Kürecik bases on Hamamyolu Street.
Making a statement about the signature campaign, Saadet Party Eskişehir Provincial Youth Branch President Ramazan Demir said, "As Saadet Party, we reject any normalization with Israel."
"THE PEOPLE OF GAZA ARE EXPOSED TO GENOCIDE"
Ramazan Demir's statement is as follows:
"As we celebrate the 100th anniversary of our Republic, some painful events have overshadowed our joy of independence. In front of the eyes of the whole world, the Palestinian people, who have been oppressed and victimized for years, are experiencing the greatest tragedy humanity has seen in recent times. The people of Gaza, who were subjected to a severe genocide just because of their ethnic identity and, more importantly, their religious beliefs, are unfortunately ignored by the political authorities. Terrorist Israel, which has had no purpose other than shedding blood and tears in the world since its existence, has once again shown that it lacks all kinds of human and conscientious values, as well as the morality and law of war. While these were happening in Gaza, the USA, the European Union and the United Nations did not stop acting like a crusader organization. This attitude of European civilization does not surprise us. What really surprises us is the impotence of the leaders of approximately 50 Islamic countries who rule the 1.5 billion Muslim world... We have experienced once again that normalization efforts with Israel have served no purpose other than encouraging Israel. As Saadet Party, we reject any normalization with Israel. For this purpose, two days ago, 4 deputies from our Saadet Party Parliament group set out for Gaza with great courage. We hope that this brave and sincere behavior of our MPs will set an example for other politicians and political leaders and will lead to the end of this oppression and occupation."
