The delegation met with representatives of the Turkish Red Crescent, AFAD, Cansuyu, IHH and Diyanet Foundation and stated that humanitarian aid should continue.

Saadet Party Parliamentary Group Delegation continues its contacts in Cairo, the capital of Egypt.

The delegation received information about the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza, which is under embargo by the occupying regime.

The occupying regime has limited the entry of humanitarian aid due to the heavy embargo in Gaza for 29 days.

In Gaza, where more than two million people live, the occupying regime's targeting of civilian settlements such as hospitals, schools, universities, mosques, churches, refugee camps and bakeries and cutting off electricity and water to the region have increased the humanitarian situation to critical levels.

The Saadet Party Parliamentary Group Delegation, which made contacts with aid organizations in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, to provide aid to the region, held meetings with non-governmental organizations; the Turkish Red Crescent, the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), the Cansuyu Solidarity and Solidarity Association, the Turkish Religious Foundation (TDV) and the Human Rights and Freedoms Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH).

The delegation received information about the creation and coordination of humanitarian aid and thanked non-governmental organizations for their humanitarian aid work.

“AID FROM TÜRKİYE SHOULD BE INCREASED”

The delegation stated that the humanitarian crisis will increase due to the lack of a humanitarian ceasefire and the invading regime's bombardments in Gaza as well as the launch of a land operation.

The delegation stated that humanitarian aid packages from Türkiye, especially medicine, food and clean water, should be increased in order for millions of people living in Gaza to continue their vital activities.
