Suggestion for violence in health came from Saadet Party Konya Deputy Karaduman. Saadet Party Konya Deputy and Head of Youth Branch Abdulkadir Karaduman made a written statement on ‘violence against healthcare workers’, which was not discussed due to the fact that Justice and Development Party (AKP), People’s Democratic Party (HDP) and Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) deputies did not attend the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM). Pointing out that violence in health has been more frequent lately, Karaduman reminded that they attended the meeting on violence in health as the Saadet Party, and said, "We are of the opinion that it is not healthy to think of the measures to be taken to prevent violence in every field only after painful events have happened." Expressing that deterrent legal regulations regarding violence in health should be made as soon as possible, “Moreover, we underlined that the regulations to be made should not be limited to the health sector only. Because violence is not a single cause, the area where the problem of violence is experienced can not also be limited to a single sector. The state is obliged to carry out work to prevent violence in every field. An effective struggle should be carried out not only against physical violence, but also against verbal violence. Those who rule this country should pay attention to the style," Karaduman added.

Karaduman underlined that President Erdogan's statements about doctors ‘let they go’ are verbal violence and said, "Unfortunately, this government has trampled the reputation of those working in the health sector, as in many other issues. We as Saadet Party; On the one hand, we will work to take security measures and ensure that the necessary legal regulations are made, on the other hand, we will work to acquire a social awareness and reflex against the problem of violence.”
